All money left over from the staging of the race will be donated to charity. In addition there will be a charity raffle at the event for prizes donated by our sponsors Mike Cookson Cycles and DJ Cycles – Hundreds of pounds worth of proper good stuff too… road bikes and the like, so that you can dabble with the dark side!

All of our suppliers and sponsors have donated their services either free of charge or for a reduced rate so that we can maximise the amount that we can give a way. Our charity donations will be split between… Medequip4kids – Raising money for medical equipment for children. http://www.medequip4kids.org.uk BTCV – Voluntary work maintaining local footpaths, bridleways, fences and trails. http://www2.btcv.org.uk/display/btcv_home SLBG (South Lancashire Bat Group) – Carrying out conservation work for bats. http://www.slbg.org.uk/ Both BTCV and SLBG work in and around Philips Park through which the Hit the North course passes.
